PERSPECTIVE ALIGNMENT COACHING • TEAM UNDERSTANDING • PRACTICAL ACTION

What happens when the issue is real, and the team sees it differently?

Perspective Alignment Coaching helps teams and professionals work through real situations by uncovering what each person sees, what may be missing, where perspectives overlap, and what to do next.

This is not a workshop about perspective.
It is guided work on the perspective problem already in front of you.

Available for teams of 3–15, ongoing organizational access, and individual leadership coaching.

Perspective Alignment Coaching

Learning the framework is one thing. Using it is another.

Perspective in Practice introduces the Perspective Alignment framework through discussion, exercises, and facilitated experiences. Perspective Alignment Coaching starts somewhere more personal and more immediate: with a situation that already matters.

Bring the situation. We work through the perspective.

The starting point might be a decision that keeps getting delayed, a team that cannot seem to get on the same page, a difficult professional relationship, a communication problem, or simply the feeling that something is not adding up.

Rather than beginning with a generic exercise, Perspective Alignment Coaching begins by understanding what the people involved currently see. We separate observations from assumptions, look for perspectives that may be missing, identify where different interpretations overlap, and explore what those differences are actually telling us.

The objective is not to decide who is right and who is wrong. It is to create enough understanding that the person or team can see the situation more completely and make a better decision about what happens next.

The framework is still the same. Awareness → Understanding → Alignment → Action

What changes is what we put through it. Instead of practicing with an example, we apply the framework to the real situation sitting in front of you.

What coaching looks like

We slow the situation down before trying to solve it.

01
Start with what you see.

What happened? What do you believe is happening? What information are you using to reach that conclusion?

02
Look beyond the first interpretation.

What might another person see? What assumptions are influencing the situation? What perspective may be missing?

03
Find the overlap and the gaps.

We identify where perspectives align, where they differ, and which differences actually matter to the issue.

04
Decide what to do with what you now understand.

The conversation moves toward practical action based on a fuller view of the situation.

Choose the level of support

Four ways to bring Perspective Alignment into the work.

Some situations need one focused team conversation. Others need private individual perspectives, ongoing access, or one-on-one leadership coaching. The format should fit the problem, not the other way around.

Group Team Alignment facilitated team session
GROUP TEAM ALIGNMENT

Work through it together.

A focused 90-minute facilitated session built around one real team issue. The group surfaces different perspectives, identifies assumptions and overlap, and works toward a practical next step.

  • 90-minute facilitated team session
  • 3–15 participants
  • Built around one real situation or point of friction
  • Best when the issue can be explored openly as a group

TEAM ALIGNMENT CYCLE

Hear what may not get said in the room.

A deeper Group → Individual → Group engagement. The team begins together, each participant then receives a private Perspective Alignment session, and the group reconvenes around shared themes, alignment, and action.

  • Opening group session: 90 minutes
  • Individual sessions: 75 minutes per participant
  • Closing group session: 90 minutes
  • 3–15 participants
  • Private conversations inform themes, not personal disclosures
Perspective Alignment Access organizational coaching subscription
PERSPECTIVE ALIGNMENT ACCESS

Give your people access when they need it.

A monthly organizational subscription that provides a pool of Perspective Alignment credits. Credits belong to the organization and can be used by any eligible employee, including multiple sessions for the same person when a situation needs more attention.

  • 1 credit = one 75-minute individual session
  • Choose 4, 8, 12, or 24 credits per month
  • Additional credits available as needed
  • Unused credits roll over for one additional month
  • Paid monthly in advance under a service agreement
Individual Leadership Perspective Alignment coaching session
INDIVIDUAL LEADERSHIP COACHING

One person. One situation. A different view.

A private 90-minute Perspective Alignment session for an executive, manager, owner, or professional who wants help examining a real situation from more than one angle before deciding what comes next.

  • 90-minute individual session
  • Always one participant
  • Focused on a real professional situation or decision
  • Available as a standalone session
Perspective Alignment Access

A pool of coaching access, not a seat assigned to one employee.

The organization receives a new pool of credits each month. One person can use one credit, several employees can each use one, or the same employee can use multiple credits when they need more than one conversation.

4 Credits For occasional use or a smaller organization testing ongoing access.
8 Credits For organizations that expect regular individual Perspective Alignment use.
12 Credits For broader monthly access across a team or several departments.
24 Credits For organizations that want Perspective Alignment available as an ongoing resource.

Credits can move where the need is.

If John needs three sessions in one month, John can use three credits. If four different employees each need one session, they can each use one. The subscription follows the need rather than assigning a permanent coaching seat to a specific person.

Unused credits have a short runway.

Unused credits may roll over for one additional month only. Rolled-over credits are used first. Any rolled-over credits still unused at the end of that second month expire.

  • One credit equals one 75-minute individual session.
  • Credits may be shared across eligible employees.
  • One employee may use multiple credits in the same month.
  • Unused credits roll over for one additional month only.
  • Oldest credits are used first.
  • Additional credits are $150 each.
  • Thirty days' written notice is required to terminate.

Where perspective meets operations

Sometimes the team issue is also telling you something about the work.

Perspective Alignment Coaching is not a workflow diagnostic. But when people describe the same process, handoff, customer interaction, or decision differently, those conversations can reveal unclear ownership, conflicting expectations, tribal knowledge, duplicated effort, or process friction that deserves a closer look.

The coaching goal remains understanding and alignment. If the conversation reveals an operational problem underneath the perspective gap, DECG can help determine whether a workflow diagnostic or improvement engagement makes sense.

Perspective alignment mapping different viewpoints around a shared business issue

Start with the issue, not the package.

If you know your team needs a different perspective but are not sure whether the right starting point is a group session, a deeper alignment cycle, ongoing access, or individual coaching, start with a conversation.

The discovery call is complimentary and there is no obligation.
